Our meetings take place in the Woodward room at the Birmingham Midland Institute in Margaret St (Close to the Birmingham Art Gallery). We meet monthly at 6.30pm on the first Thursday of the month, with a few exceptions, i.e. there are no meetings in January and February, or August (summer holiday). The Annual Shakespeare Dinner is usually held on a day as close as possible to April 23rd (this being the date of both his birth and death). The venue for this varies, but in 2011 and 2012 it was held at the Garden House, Hagley Rd, Edgbaston.
